Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Simul Studio ("the App"), made by Roadman Studio ("we", "us"), handles your information. The short version: your photos never leave your device, and the App itself doesn't collect your personal data.

Photos and Camera

Simul Studio processes all photos entirely on your device. When you grant camera or photo library access:

• Photos you shoot or import are stored locally on your device, inside the App and in your photo library when you choose to export.
• No photos, thumbnails, edits, or image metadata are ever uploaded to us or to any third party.
• We have no servers that receive your images. There is no account and no cloud component.

Data the App Does Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, or share:

• Personal information (name, email, contacts, location)
• Photos or camera data
• Advertising data of any kind

Studio Notes

If you sign up for Studio Notes on this website, the submitted email address and subscription/form metadata are sent to Kit for newsletter delivery and consent management. This website signup is separate from the App; the App itself does not collect this information.

Anonymous Website Analytics

We use PostHog in its EU (Frankfurt) region to understand a small set of anonymous website interactions: page views, App Store CTA taps, sticky-offer and early-feedback visibility, and 50% or 75% scroll depth.

Website analytics run in cookieless mode, which does not store an analytics identifier in your browser. We do not enable session replay, autocapture, advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking, feature flags, surveys, error tracking, or user profiles. We do not send names, email addresses, photos, edits, filenames, EXIF/GPS data, Apple IDs, or Studio Notes form contents to PostHog.

Purchases

The one-time unlock purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymized transaction information necessary to deliver the purchase (for example, confirmation that the unlock was bought or restored). Apple's handling of your payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following locally on your device only: your photo gallery and edits, your settings, your remaining free-photo count, and your purchase status. Deleting the App deletes this data (your exported photos remain in your photo library).

Children's Privacy

Simul Studio does not collect data from anyone, including children. The App is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
